Our Services

Independent financial planning across every stage of your financial life — tailored entirely to your goals, your circumstances, and your future.

Eight areas of focused expertise

A good financial planning journey shouldn’t be overly complicated or overwhelming. Whether you’ve got £1,000 or £100 million, the journey always starts the same way — with a conversation.

First, we get to know you — who you are and what matters to you. Then we agree a sensible and achievable plan that gives you the best possible chance of meeting your goals. And finally we monitor that plan over time to make sure it stays on course — because no financial journey ever goes in a straight line.

01

Initial Consultation — Free of Charge

Every client relationship begins with a free, no-obligation conversation. This is an opportunity for both of us to get a feel for whether the relationship is the right fit — to talk openly about where you are, what you are hoping to achieve, and how I might be able to help. There is no paperwork, no pressure, and no cost. If it feels right for both parties, we take it from there.

02

Pension & Retirement Planning

A pension is rarely a single moment — it is a journey. I work with clients from the earliest stages of accumulation, helping build and consolidate pension wealth in a tax-efficient and purposeful way, right through to the point of retirement and beyond. As the transition into decumulation approaches, I help clients navigate that shift with clarity — designing a sustainable income strategy that balances growth, security, and flexibility for whatever life brings next.

03

Investment Planning

As a truly independent adviser I have access to the whole of market, which means investment recommendations are driven entirely by what is right for you — not by panel agreements or commercial relationships. I work with clients to build portfolios aligned to their goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon, with ongoing reviews to ensure the strategy remains appropriate as circumstances evolve.

04

Cashflow Modelling

Cashflow modelling is one of the most powerful tools in financial planning — bringing your financial future to life in a clear, visual way. By mapping your projected income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities over time, we can test different scenarios, identify potential shortfalls, and make informed decisions with confidence. Whether you are planning for retirement, considering a major financial decision, or simply wanting to understand whether your money will last, cashflow modelling provides the clarity to plan with real purpose.

05

Ongoing Annual Reviews

A financial plan is only as good as the ongoing attention it receives. Annual reviews are a core part of the RCN service — structured, clear conversations to assess how your plan is performing, whether your goals have changed, and what adjustments may be needed. Life moves quickly; your financial plan should move with it.

06

Protection Planning

The best financial plans account for the unexpected. I work with clients to ensure they and their families are properly protected against life's uncertainties — covering life assurance, income protection, and critical illness cover. Protection needs are assessed individually and recommendations are always based on your specific circumstances, not off-the-shelf solutions.

07

Estate & Inheritance Tax (IHT) Planning

Passing wealth to the next generation requires careful, considered planning. I help clients understand their potential inheritance tax exposure and put practical structures in place to manage it — covering gifting strategies, trust arrangements, pension planning, and the use of available reliefs and exemptions. The aim is always to preserve wealth in a way that reflects your wishes and values.

08

Tax-Efficient Investing

Making the most of available tax allowances is a fundamental part of good financial planning. I advise on the full range of tax-efficient investment options — Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs), Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS), and other wrappers — to ensure clients are keeping as much of their money working for them as possible. Tax planning is always considered alongside the wider financial plan, never in isolation.

A pension is a long-term investment not normally accessible until 55 (57 from April 2028). The fund value may fluctuate and can go down, which would have an impact on the level of pension benefits available. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

Past performance is not a guide to future performance and may not be repeated. The value of investments and the income from them may go down as well as up and investors may not get back the amount originally invested.

The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate estate planning, tax planning or cash flow modelling.
